Wednesday 17th June:
Updates Day – one-day registration fee applies for everyone (reduced fee for ophthalmic trainees, foundation Drs, oculoplastic nurses, medical students*) *for these categories photo hospital or university ID required in advance of booking.
Tuesday 16th June – 10 am – 5 pm (Memorial Hall, City Hall, Sheffield)
Joint APSOPRS, AFSOPRS and BOPSS hands-on workshop on aesthetics and trauma.
For consultants, fellows and ophthalmic trainees only ( ST1-ST5 & ST6, TSC ). Must have purchased a valid Update Day and / or Scientific Meeting ticket to purchase.

Thursday 18th June 7.50 am – 10 am (Royal Hallamshire Hospital) :
- Basic Oculoplastics (OCP) Procedures for medical students, F1 & F2 and trainees ST1-ST5. To register you must have a trainee or foundation dr/medical student scientific meeting ticket. Places allocated on first paid basis.
- Advanced Oculoplastics (OCP) Procedures for ST5 & ST6, TSC and Fellows. To register you must have a trainee scientific meeting ticket. Places allocated on first paid basis.
Thursday 18th & Friday 19th June:
Scientific Meeting (two-day registration fee applies) for everyone.

Wednesday 17th June 6 pm – 7.30 pm:
Welcome drinks reception at the Winter Garden (free).
Thursday 18th June:
BOPSS dinner and disco. Come along to our dinner and disco! It’s a great chance to relax, catch up with colleagues, and enjoy the night together—and we’ve made sure it’s affordable for everyone.
Friday 19th June 2026:
7.00am-8.00am: 5k run in Endcliffe Park- free
7.00am-8.00am: Pilates £10 per person (location tbc)
7.00am-8.00am: Swim at Ponds forge – book directly with Ponds Forge
Saturday 20th June 2026:
Morning hike in the Peak District with lunch (buy your own) – 3-4 hours

Meeting Registration
Please log into your user account on the website (or if you do not have an account you can create a user account). BOPSS Member (reduced fee) payment options will appear once you are logged in and your membership subscription is up to date. You pay via the website using a credit or debit card through Stripe. We do not take cheque or cash payments. We do not invoice. For Foundation Doctor (year 1 or 2), medical student or ophthalmic nurse we require photo work or university ID before you book.
