The submitting author is the first (main) author and is responsible for presenting the work. This means that you must register, pay the appropriate fee AND attend the meeting in person. We do not accept substitute authors or pre-recorded presentations. BOPSS decision is final.
Name your PowerPoint file so it follows this format: Thurs101Smith (Day + assigned number + your surname)

Presentation Guidelines
- File format: PowerPoint only (Keynote files are not supported)
- Slide format: 16:9 widescreen (not 4:3)
- Timing: 4 minutes to present, followed by 1 minute for questions
- Slide limit: Maximum of 10 slides (including any title and acknowledgement slides)
- Video content: Any embedded video must not exceed 60 seconds
- Images: Please use high-resolution images only
- Animations/transitions: Maximum of 10 in total (or one per slide)
Excessive use of transitions to circumvent slide count will not be tolerated and will be rejected - Speaker notes: Not viewable during the presentation — please print separately if required
- Consent: Ensure patient consent has been obtained for any images or data used
- Disclosure: Declare any financial interests on your title or final slide
- Flags: BOPSS does not endorse the use of flags in presentations — please refer to our policy
Additional Information
- If your presentation includes audio or video, please notify us in advance
- The programme is tightly scheduled, so it is essential that your presentation does not exceed the allocated 4 minutes. The moderator will stop presentations that overrun, and audio-visual content may be paused to maintain timing. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation
