Who should register?
All attendees — including invited speakers, session chairmen and free paper and e-poster presenters — must register and pay in advance of the Meeting.
If you are not a BOPSS member or have not attended a BOPSS meeting before, you will need to create a user account on the website before you can register and pay to attend.
Please use the button below to access the registration page. We do not offer invoice terms. You must register for yourself.

Please ensure that you select the correct option and complete all required fields. We will check all applications to ensure that you have registered at the correct rate. The early bird rate option closes at NOON on 02nd May 2026.
Registration options
There are options to register for Wednesday only (recent advances update day) and / or the scientific meeting on Thursday and Friday. There is no daily rate option for Thursday or Friday. There are two fees payable if you are attending all three days of the meeting.

BOPSS Full/Associate member
You have been accepted as a BOPSS member (Full or Associate) and your membership subscription is up to date.
BOPSS Trainee member
You have been accepted as a BOPSS trainee member, and your membership subscription is up to date.
Consultant ophthalmologist, SAS grade, Trust Dr and overseas doctors (all non-training grades)
Non-BOPSS member.
Trainee
This rate applies to UK or Ireland training grades and includes subspecialty trainees, postgraduate, clinical and research fellows.
Medical Science Liaison or trade representatives
This rate applies to medical manager, medical science liaison, trade representatives or non-clinical pharmaceutical representative.
Foundation Dr, Medical Student or nurses interested in oculoplastics
This rate applies only to Foundation Doctors (years 1 & 2), medical students, or nurses interested in oculoplastics. If you wish to book at this rate, please email us in advance with a copy of your photo hospital or university ID, and we will send you a payment link.
Registration guidance
Log into your user account on the website (or if you do not have an account you can create a user account). BOPSS Member payment options will appear once you are logged in and your membership subscription is up to date. You pay via Stripe using a credit or debit card. We do not take cheque or cash payments. We do not invoice.
To attend ALL three days of the meeting there are TWO fees payable – the “scientific meeting fee” for Thursday and Friday (does not include Wednesday), AND Wednesday the Recent Advances / Update Day. There is an option to attend Wednesday only but there is no option to pay a daily rate for Thursday or Friday.
The reception on Wednesday evening is free for all delegates. Please select this option if you are planning on attending so we can cater accordingly.
The dinner on Thursday evening is open to all delegates registered for all three days and / or Thursday/Friday. To purchase the dinner ticket, you must have a scientific meeting ticket. There is limited availability for spouse / partner tickets as we want as many delegates to attend as possible. The option to purchase a spouse / partner becomes available once you have purchased your own dinner ticket
To take advantage of the reduced registration rates for early booking, you must pay by noon 02nd May 2026

Trauma workshop on morning
Hands on small groups, faculty-guided simulation-based training on pigs head and 3D printed models. Didactic lectures and hands on component that will focus on delegates gaining training on surgical management of bony orbital trauma.
Aesthetics workshop on afternoon
Hands on small groups, faculty-guided simulation-based training on mannequins. Didactic lectures and practice of botulinum toxin injections and of filler injections.

For nurses and allied professionals who are interested in oculoplastic care, £90

This session provides a nurse-focused overview of oculoplastic, lacrimal, and orbital care, highlighting the extensive role of nursing in this specialty. It aims to enhance clinical knowledge, showcase the scope of nursing practice, support best practice, and inspire professional development within the field. While mainly designed for nurses, this session is open to other allied health professionals, doctors, and medical students with an interest in oculoplastics

Please note that places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served, paid basis. Workshops places cannot be reserved.
There are some restrictions on access to the workshops, so please read the criteria. You cannot book a Thursday workshop without having a ticket for the scientific meeting.
The nurses workshop fee includes registration for the morning part of the Update Day.
We cannot reduced fees or refund workshop tickets.
Dietary requirements
We are unable to cater for individual tastes or preferences. We will provide a meat, fish, and vegetarian option each day. If you require the vegetarian, vegan or halal option, please indicate this in the dietary requirements field so we can order accordingly. If you have a food allergy (such as nut) or require gluten free please state this in the “allergy” dietary field.
Receipts
Once you have paid, the receipt is available online in your BOPSS user account as a pdf file to print off as required. We do not email receipts.
Cancellation and refund policy
The Society will offer a 100% refund if you cancel before 01st May 2026, 50% refund if you cancel before 31st May 2026. No refund after 1st June 2026. Please send in a written request with supporting evidence of why we should refund (GP letter for example). Please refer to the BOPSS cancellation policy for more information.
