Consultant Ophthalmic Pathologist
Medical training at Guy’s hospital Medical School and Cambridge University. PhD in neurobiology at University College London. Ophthalmology training QMC Nottingham and Histopathology training at Sheffield Teaching Hospital NHS Trust and Ophthalmic pathology training in London, Liverpool and Sheffield. Hardeep is currently consultant ophthalmic pathologist at the National Specialist Ophthalmic Pathology Service (NSOPS), Histopathology Dept, Royal Hallamshire Hospital Sheffield, UK.
He is an expert member of editorial board responsible for writing and editing The WHO Classification of Eye and Orbit Tumours (4th and current 5th edition). Is a member of the British Association for Ophthalmic Pathology, the European Ophthalmic Pathology Society and the Eastern Ophthalmic Pathology Society (USA). His research interests are mainly ocular surface and intraocular tumours. Hobbies: Growing flowers and vegetables, bird-spotting, Shotokan Karate (3rd Dan black belt).
