Built in 1588, Wollaton Hall is Grade 1 listed building, which nestles in 500 acres of parkland with herds of red and fallow deer roaming free. It boasts a large lake and woodland, which create a dramatic contrast to the Hall. It has formal and sensory gardens, historic Camellia House, Doric Temple, and avenues of ancient trees and late Georgian lodges. The Hall is now home to Nottingham’s Natural History Museum and Industrial Museum , and has restored Tudor kitchens, Admirals Bath, and the stunning”Prospect Room” located at the top of the building.
You will be welcomed into the garden terrace for a pre-dinner drinks reception and you will have the opportunity to view the many exhibits, or stroll through the beautiful gardens and admire the views. Dinner will then be served in the Great Hall followed by music and dancing.
