Dr Lenake is a superspecialist who treats medical and surgical oculoplastic conditions in adults and children.
She completed the Orbital, Plastics and Lacrimal fellowship in Melbourne in Australia in 2015 -2016.
She obtained her MMed degree with distinction from The University of Cape Town and was awarded the Justin Van Selm medal from the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa (top honours in the ophthalmology final examination).
She is the past president of the South African Society of Oculoplastic Surgeons (SASOPS) and is a member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (ASOPRS)
