Registration & Costs

Delegate Registration

All attendees, including invited speakers, session chairman and guests, must register in advance of the Meeting.  If you are not a member of BOPSS or have not attended BOPSS before, you must first create a user account on the website to register and then pay to attend the meeting.

We are still accepting online payments for late registrations for BOPSS. Please be advised that registration lists and badges have now been printed, so at the meeting please go to the payment desk rather than stand in the registration queue as your name or badge will NOT be at main registration.

Please ensure that you select the correct option.

BOPSS full/associate member – you have been accepted as a BOPSS member (Full or Associate) and your membership subscription is up to date.

BOPSS trainee member – you have been accepted as a BOPSS trainee member and your membership subscription is up to date.

Non-Consultant Ophthalmologist – this rate applies to SAS grades, subspecialty trainees, postgraduate, clinical and research fellows, trust grade doctors.

Allied Professional – this rate applies to ophthalmic nurses, orthoptists, optometrists, orbital prosthetists, ophthalmic health professional staff, medical students and Foundation Doctors (proof of status required).

Registration Fees

You pay via the website by logging into your user account using your credit or debit card.  Paying on-line is easy and secure, and is handled by WorldPay.  We do not take cheque or cash payments.

Please note that the meeting fee is for Thursday and Friday only.  If you want to attend on Wednesday (Update Day), you must also select this option and pay the additional fee.  There is no option to pay a daily rate for Thursday or Friday.

The reception on Wednesday evening at the Royal Society of Medicine is free for all delegates.  Please select this option if you are planning on attending so we can cater accordingly.

The gala dinner at the Dorchester Hotel on Thursday 22nd June costs £100 per ticket. Please select the number of tickets required. Please note that due to high demand for gala dinner tickets this year there is now limited availability and ticket sales will close at midday on Wednesday 14th June. You can purchase tickets on the main registration page.

Wednesday – Art Deco Tour of the West End followed by buy your own lunch at Brasserie Zedel – places are limited and allocated on a first paid for basis – the cost is £10 per person.  Please select the number of places required.

Friday – 08.30am – Private view of the Royal Academy’s Summer Exhibition with a Guide followed by coffee in the Academicians’ Room. £20.

To take advantage of the reduced registration rates for early booking, you must register and pay by Friday 5th May 2017.

Receipts

The receipt is available online in your BOPSS website account to print off as required.

Cancellation and refund policy

The Society will offer a 100% refund if you cancel before 1st April 2017, 75% refund if you cancel before 31st May 2017. No refund after 01st June 2017.
