Francesco Quaranta Leoni, MD, is Medical Director at Oftalmoplastica Roma and Head of the Oculoplastic Department at Tiberia Hospital, Rome. He is Adjunct Professor at the Universities of Pavia and Ferrara. A former President of ESOPRS and SICOP, he is an International Member of ASOPRS and Advisor to APSOPRS. He trained at the Catholic University of Rome and completed a two-year fellowship at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London. He received the ASOPRS Merrill Reeh Pathology Award in 2014. He lectures internationally, publishes in the field, is co-editor of the ESOPRS textbook, and serves as an EBOD and EBO-ESOPRS examiner.
