Muzzammil is a consultant maxillofacial surgeon at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, UK. He is doubly qualified in medicine & dentistry. Completed BDS from GDC Bangalore & MDS from GDC Ahmedabad in India. Medicine from Leicester & trained in the North East of England. He completed advanced fellowships in head and neck cancer & reconstruction at Singapore Gen Hospital, MD Anderson Cancer Centre, Texas & Coventry University Hospitals
He has been the Head & Neck MDT lead & Chair of Cancer Alliance in Yorkshire & is currently an Associate Dean.
He examines for the MFDS at the Royal College & has been a Exec Board member & also a visiting professor at the University of Baghdad & Dhaka. Main subspeciality interests include head and neck cancer reconstruction & trauma.
He is the founder of living beyond mouth cancer charity & actively volunteers in war zones and collaborates with multiple charities for Subsaharan Africa.
A keen cricket player, loves cooking & travelling and is fond of classical qawwali music.
