We are conducting a survey to explore current practice patterns regarding the use of systemic corticosteroids in the management of orbital cellulitis.
Orbital cellulitis is a potentially sight- and life-threatening condition, and while antibiotics remain the mainstay of treatment, the role of adjunctive systemic steroids remains variable in clinical practice. This survey aims to better understand indications, timing, dosing regimens and perceived benefits of steroid use among BOPSS members.
The results will help identify current patterns of practice, inform future guidance, and potentially support the development of consensus recommendations.
Participation is voluntary, and responses will be anonymised. The survey should take approximately 5 minutes to complete.
