Dr. Patankar is a world-renowned interventional neuroradiologist practicing as a consultant at Leeds General Infirmary, and BHRUT in UK. Dr. Patankar is Associate Editor for the British Journal of Radiology and reviewer for a number of international journals.
Experience and expertise:
Dr. Patankar has special expertise in coiling of brain aneurysms and has performed more than 3000 coiling of brain aneurysms. He proctors and has trained many doctors around world on new technologies such as WEB, Pulse Rider, Pconus, Eclips, Contour, neqstent and Flow divertors such as Pipeline, Evolve, Surpass, P64 and many other new devices.
Dr. Patankar also has vast experience in embolisation of arteriovenous malformations, dural fistulae and preoperative tumor embolisation in brain and spine and mechanical thrombectomy for stroke.
