Ian Simmons

Mr Simmons is a consultant paediatric ophthalmologist at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. He has a long-standing interest in the ophthalmic complications of children’s brain tumours and neurofibromatosis Type 1. He was the ophthalmic lead for the LGG2 Low grade Glioma multi-centre European SIOP study which ran from 2004 to 2013 and has published the Uk’s experience of managing optic pathway gliomas from this data.
