Bobby S. Korn, M.D., Ph.D.
Bobby S. Korn, M.D., Ph.D. is a Professor of Ophthalmology and Plastic Surgery at the U.C. San Diego. As the Director of the International Oculoplastics Fellowship, Dr. Korn is dedicated to cultivating future leaders in the field. Under his guidance at UC San Diego, the program has produced accomplished graduates who hold influential positions worldwide.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Korn is an active researcher and has published over 300 peer-reviewed articles and textbook chapters and is the Chief Editor of the book, Video Atlas of Oculofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is past Chair of the American Academy of Ophthalmology’s Basic and Clinical Sciences Series for Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery and the recipient of multiple awards including: American Academy of Ophthalmology Senior Achievement Award, American Academy of Ophthalmology Secreteriat Award, ASOPRS Research Award, Marvin Quickert Thesis Award. Dr. Korn has given over 200 lectures globally.
