Mr Ruben Kannan is a world-renowned consultant plastic surgeon, specialising in facial palsy at the Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead. He completed fellowships in top centres in the UK, USA and Japan in the fields of facial palsy, migraine surgery and super-microsurgery respectively. He is an active contributor to facial palsy and along with QVH’s award-winning team performs cutting-edge procedures such as corneal neurotisation etc. Mr Kannan is also a founder-member of the UK Cranial Nerve Network; the first global network which aims to restore all aspects of facial function such as eye movements, global facial expressions, eating, swallowing etc. and is keen to collaborate with allied specialities for the benefit of all.
