Both the honorary secretary and honorary treasurer are coming to the end of their tenure and the Society is asking for expressions of interest from members. The expressions of interest / nominations will open at 12 noon on Friday 06th January and will be open for two weeks.
The announcement of candidates and voting will open at 12 noon on Monday 23rd January and will be open for two weeks. The announcement of the successful nominees will be made during the week beginning 08th February 2023. Only paid up full BOPSS members will be eligible to stand for election, nominate and vote. Please look out for your emails over the coming weeks giving notice of nominations and voting. If you have turned off notifications please ensure you turn these on. UPDATE: We received two nominations for post of Secretary and two for Treasurer.
Each full paid up BOPSS member is entitled to cast their vote for their preferred candidates for Secretary and Treasurer. The candidates that receive the highest number of votes will be duly elected to be ratified at the AGM in July 2023.
