Electronic Medical Records (EMR) are becoming more widely used throughout ophthalmology, with advantages such as rapid auditing capabilities and access when patients present to emergency care. However, EMR has not been universally adopted, with some sub-specialities opting out as they feel the service EMR provides is inadequately tailored to their needs and presents a medicolegal risk. We would be grateful if you could spend a few minutes to share your thoughts on the subject with us.
I would like to thank all of you who have taken the time to complete this survey on the use of electronic medical records in oculoplastics. I would be extremely grateful if anyone who has not yet completed it could spare just 3-4 minutes to do so over the next couple of weeks. The survey will formally close at the end of June, and I hope to be able to disseminate the results soon after that. Many thanks for your support.
