The BAAPS is incredibly proud that the successful Regional Aesthetic training Programme has continued to gain momentum throughout 2017. In 2015 this programme was extended to the BAAPS Annual Scientific Meeting and a dedicated trainee Programme created to give more accessible educational information specifically to Trainees. The 2017 Annual Meeting Trainee Programme has been developed from your feedback and will take place on Friday 6th October from 9am – 13:00 in the London Room at London Olympia. The BAAPS continues to support the profession by offering educational prizes to you to enhance your training and development at the Annual Scientific Meeting on the 5th & 6th October 2017, please see the list below and enter using the links and email address below.
BAAPS Travel Fellowship Trainee members are eligible to apply for a BAAPS Travel Fellowship worth £1000. Up to three awards are available annually. Applicants should apply by letter/email giving outline details of the intended visit and a brief CV. Entries must be received by 31 August each year and recipients will be announced at the Annual Meeting of the same year. Awards will be given to applicants wishing to embark on a project lasting at least 3 weeks and with a definite clinical or research aim. Recipients may be expected to give a short presentation of their experience at the following Annual Meeting.
Secretariat@baaps.org.uk Michael Hackett Memorial Prize This prize, which attracts an award of £500, is given for the best paper presented at a BAAPS Annual Scientific Meeting. All papers presented at the meeting are considered for the prize which is presented to the winner at the end of the meeting.
Poster Prize The BAAPS awards a £200 prize for the best poster presentation at its Annual Meeting. All posters that are accepted for presentation are considered for the prize and the award is presented at the end of the Annual Meeting. SUBMIT YOUR ABSTRACT HERE
