National Ophthalmology Survival Skills Course

Aims to equip senior trainees (ST5 and above) transition to independent surgery and to deal with complications in cataract surgery and ocular trauma principles in a stress free environment.

• Anterior vitrectomy for PC rupture
• Vitreous Biopsy
• IOL exchange
• AC IOL placement
• Capsular tension Ring placement
• Extracapsular Cataract Extraction (ECCE)
• Corneoscleral laceration suturing
• Muscle disinsertion and reattachment
• Lid laceration suturing
• Lateral cantholysis
