The Queen Victoria Hospital’s Corneoplastic Unit and Eye Bank is a specialist and tertiary referral centre for complex corneal problems and oculoplastics. It is a high-profile and technologically advanced department that innovates internationally

The Course
A two-day intensive update on modern-day Corneal and Oculoplastic surgery. Delivered by means of small group tuition and hands on assessment of our patients, including OSCE style teaching with complex Cornea and Oculoplastic patients

• Refractive Surgery introduction
• Microbial Keratitis
• Lamellar Keratoplasty: DSAEK, DMEK and DALK
• Keratoprosthesis
• Keratoconus

Topics Covered – Oculoplastics:
• Watery Eye
• Ptosis
• Entropion and Ectropion
• Periocular Malignancy
• Orbital Imaging
• Thyroid Orbitopathy

Course fee: £700 – includes lunches, course dinner and overnight accommodation on 15th March
